<br><br>Accellera – an organization that in the field of computer-aided design of electronic devices and the development of integrated circuits. Standards developed by Accellera and disseminated among developers are generally accepted by the IEEE.<br><br>Accellera was founded in 2000 by the merger of Open Verilog International and VHDL International.<br><br>In June 2009, a merger was announced with another major EDA organization, the SPIRIT Consortium, which was developing IP standards.<br>Membership<br>Corresponding member companies have voting rights on all Accellera technical committees.
