Small annoyance that’s slowly becoming a big one. The rear left door on my Ghost no longer does that soft close thing where it pulls itself shut, I have to slam it like a normal car now and it feels wrong every time. Front doors are fine, so it’s just the one mechanism. I’m not keen on the dealer route for something this specific because I know they’ll want to replace the whole latch assembly at a painful price. Someone said there’s top Rolls-Royce servicing near Al Nahda that handles these jobs and I’m tempted to at least get a second opinion. Has anyone had a soft close actuator fail and did it turn out to be the motor, the sensor, or just a fuse? Also is it a job that can be done without tearing the door card apart and risking rattles afterwards, because that’s my real fear here.
